Under One Roof: Multigenerational Living and the American Housing Crisis Whipple Writing Fellowship
I wrote this piece as a fellow for the 2025 Whipple Writing Fellowship, which equips high school students to research and write narrative non-fiction pieces on topics of their choice. I decided to write about multigenerational living, connecting it both to my experience growing up with a culture that celebrates such living arrangements and to the recent trend of America’s adult children moving back in with their parents. This piece is published on the Whipple Writing Fellowship website.
